So much to see and do...

The picturesque village of Clovelly, with it’s cobbled
flower-bedecked streets and lack of cars, is unique in
England. It is world-renowned as a special place and
unchanged for centuries.

Boat trips around the bay can give a wonderful view
of Clovelly tumbling down the hill side to the sea.

The Island of Lundy is about 15 miles away and
acts as the gateway to the Atlantic Ocean. There you
will find the 1st Marine nature reserve in England
and can swim with the seals or go diving. It takes
about and hour from Clovelly Quay and trips can be
arranged.

The beauty of the area...

Most of Clovelly Parish is in an “Area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty” so all the land from the A39 to the
coast is protected for the timeless and unchanging
quality of the countryside fauna & flora.

The South-West Coast Path - 630 miles
(1,014 Kms) passes through Clovelly and is ideal for
short stroll or a good day’s hiking.

Nearby is the Clovelly Court Victorian walled
garden and greenhouses next to the 13th century
Parish Church of All Saints with it’s connections to
Charles Kingsley the writer of ‘Westward Ho!’ and
‘The Water Babies’.

For golfers there are a good number of courses in the area including full competition links courses and driving ranges.

Families are well catered for with a wide choice of country and town activities, Adventure Parks
such as The Milky Way and the many beaches.

Eating places are to be found in the area to suit all tastes as most villages have at least one
pub and Bideford has a wide range of restaurants from fish & chips bars to high-class restaurants.
